Our Smithfield club in Dublin 7 features a 20-metre indoor swimming pool with a consistent depth of 1.4 metres, making it ideal for relaxed swimming, fitness and building confidence in the water.
The pool sits within a dedicated Pool & Spa area, creating a calm space to unwind before or after your workout.
Our Dartry club in Rathgar, Dublin 6 offers a large indoor swimming pool with a depth of approximately 1.2 metres throughout.
Dartry is ideal for lane swimming, Aqua classes and swimming lessons, with both adult and children’s swimming programmes available.
Swimming is an effective full-body workout that combines cardiovascular exercise with resistance from the water. It can help improve fitness, endurance and muscle tone while placing less impact on the joints than many land-based exercises.
It is also a great option if you want to add variety to your training routine or prefer lower-impact exercise.
Both Smithfield and Dartry also offer a selection of Aqua fitness classes, giving you another way to exercise in the water with the motivation and guidance of an instructor.
All four Iconic Health Clubs offer sauna facilities, giving you a relaxing space to unwind after training and recover from a busy day.
At Smithfield and Camden Street, members can also enjoy steam room facilities for an additional way to relax as part of their health club experience.

Yes. Iconic Health Clubs are private members’ health clubs, so we do not offer pay-as-you-go access to our swimming pools.
