At Iconic Health Clubs our vision has always been to inspire better quality of life, improved well-being, and the value of health and fitness in the communities we serve. With this in mind we have launched our Iconic Inspiration series to share our members stories to motivate you on your health and fitness journey.

We are start our first series with a note from our Iconic member David Doyle.

My story is, a year and a half ago I had a sudden change in my life that had an effect on my mental health, my confidence and motivation. It took a lot out of me rebuilding a new life in one sense. I joined Iconic Health Clubs to bring a start to changes and within the first month, I lost over a stone in weight. I ran a marathon to raise funds for a mental health charity very close to my heart and I suddenly realized this new lease of life; I started to see life a bit different. I focused on my training in the past year I have not only rebuilt myself but I have lost over 4 and a half stone in weight. I have run, so far 7 marathons and currently training for the SSE Airtricity half marathon and The Dublin Marathon in October 2018. I have gone on to be a motivator for others and sharing useful motivation points and stories on Instagram to help motivate others who have been finding it hard to reach goals, I have worked on my own fitness/motivation weekly target goal chart with the aim to have structure and balance that helps reach your targets and goals.

I have a motto that in life we create our own special moments to cherish that we choose our future and destiny. I believe in focusing in the I CAN and NOT I CAN’T.
Thank for letting me share this with you.

David.
