Our member’s summer party took place at the Blue Room in the Dean Hotel on the 9th June. It was an amazing night in which staff and members get the opportunity to let their hair down together away from the club. From champagne on arrival, to a live private DJ spinning tunes until late – we have to say members and staff a like had a ball!

Air-conditioning Filters & Maintenance
As it is coming into our summer months we know the importance of keeping temperature regulated at the most comfortable temperatures to work out in. We have our gym floor regulated at the industry standard temperature of 19 degrees Celsius. We keep the strictest to H&S guidelines and adhere to the Ireland Active Gold standard guidelines. To help us maintain this consistent level our in house maintenance expert Mark changes the air-condition filters regularly and also cleans out each air-conditioning unit bi-weekly as part of our maintenance schedule. This is in line with the recommendations from our Air Filter partner Camfil.

New additions this month
We have introduced a new trouser-press to the men’s changing rooms. This will be a welcome addition for our men so they can prepare for a busy day at the office while getting their workout done. Also, we have installed extra mirrors for the ladies changing rooms due to feedback we received. This will allow further space for member’s to beautify themselves before leaving the club!

Staff Trainings
During April we have invested in a staff training day for Fire Safety. We feel it is extremely important to have the most highly qualified and skilled staff so that you our member’s are provided the safest and comfortable environment to work-out in! In the efficient of an emergency situation you can be a peace of mind that our staff are sufficiently trained to keep you safe!
Don’t forget to book in for a programme/Milon review or wellness evaluation with one of the team. These are a fantastic opportunity to review your goals, track your progress or correct your technique. Bookings can be made at reception.

Club manager.

Club maintenance
Throughout January we continued to improve the quality of our facilities. In our PPM schedule in January we had our drains all cleared and hygienically washed by The Drain Doctors to help improve the smell in our shower areas. This is done on a regular basis as we have an older building in which old pipes can cause such issues. Our window cleaner Darlan cleaned all windows inside and out including our amazing Atrium area.
