As a premium operator we continuingly invest in new equipment and in the upkeep of our facilities. This gives you, ‘our member’s’ the peace of mind that you are consistently getting the highest quality service and products around. In December we purchased new equipment and our changing room also underwent a deep clean.

New Equipment
We are constantly looking at ways in which our members can enjoy their workouts and also improve their fitness. In December we bought new pieces of equipment for our studio classes. This includes new exercise mats for Body Pump and our Bootcamp classes. We also increased the number of 3kg and 4kg dumbbells which are available for members. Battle Ropes have also been bought. These can be incorporated in a number of our high intensity classes.

We have also added an Octane Fitness AirDyne bike in the cardio area. The Octane Fitness AirDyne bike is a terrific piece equipment which can accommodate all levels of fitness. It is also a must for anyone who incorporates HIIT training in the fitness programme. If you are unsure how to use the bike or if you would like to add it to your programme please book in with one of our trainers at reception.

Deep clean
Both the male and female changing rooms and showers underwent a thorough deep clean at the end of December by a team of cleaning experts. We hope that you agree that it has made a huge difference to the standard of the changing area. We achieved a Gold Standard in hygiene levels in accordance with Ireland Active in November 2017 and we are committed to carry our this operation on a biannual basis.

Wiping down equipment
The hygiene of the club is extremely important to use. Our club care team do a fantastic job on a day to day basis to ensure that we meet our high standards. I would like to ask our members to assist them by wiping down the equipment after use. There are a number of hygiene points throughout the gym and studios, where antibacterial spray and tissues are available.

Essential road works on Palmerston Gardens
We have been notified by the ESB that essential trenching and ducting works will be carried out on Palmerston Gardens for a number of weeks. The work is due to begin on 15/1/18 and some carparking spaces will be taken up from 8:00am – 5:00pm each day. Access to Palmerston Gardens will be accommodated at all times.

Additional investment in January
Upon receiving recent feedback form our members we have upgraded our whole music library. We will have daily updates with an eclectic mix to suit your wide preferences of music genres.

The Keiser spin bikes which we ordered in November should be with us by the end of January. We’re extremely excited for these to come in and I’m sure the standard of the classes on offer will increase even higher.
