As a premium operator we continuingly invest in new equipment and in the upkeep of our facilities. This gives you, ‘our member’s’ the peace of mind that you are consistently getting the highest quality service and products around.
Spin Bikes
Our new Keiser M3i Spin bikes arrived at the start of February. These state of the art machines are a massive upgrade on our old bikes. As well as the magnetic resistance allowing a smoother more controllable ride, the information display provide riders with instant feedback on their speed, resistance level, and actual power output. The Bluetooth functionality also allows more seasoned riders the option of using either the Keiser M3i series app or the third party Impowered Betrained app both of which provide further data and allow members to save their classes and thus track improving fitness levels. The slim design of the Keiser M3i bikes has also enabled us fit an extra three bikes in our dedicated spin studio!
All of our trainers have attended a master class and have been brought up to speed. If you haven’t tried a Spin class now is definitely the time to do so.
Shower temperatures
Over the past two weeks we have been having problems with the temperature in our showers. One of the heat exchanges has broken and the second is struggling to keep up with demand during peak times. The new heat exchanger has been paid for and ordered. We will have this issue resolved as soon as possible.
New equipment
We are delighted to let you know thanks to member feedback that we have invested in a number pieces of new equipment. This includes a Freemotion Cable Crossover which has have been delivered today. If you’re unsure how to use this machine or if you need a new programme you can book in to meet with one our trainers at reception or through our mobile app.
We have also ordered new body max medicine balls, a SportsArt Ab Crunch machine and an Exigo glute/back extension machine. We hope to have these delivered later this month.
Staff changes
Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to Dylan who is moving to Canada. Dylan has helped raise the bar through the quality of his classes and will be missed by staff and members alike.
I would also like to welcome Jay to the fitness team. Jay is currently studying Sports Management in DCU and has been working in the industry over the past couple of years. He is already proving to be a great addition to the team and we are excited about having him on board.
As always, if you have any feedback or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at the club on my email sean@thedartryhealthclub.ie
Yours in health and fitness,
Sean Gavin
